From Blank Canvas to Culinary Stage
After completing a full bathroom renovation for this couple in August 2022, we were invited back in November 2023 to reimagine their kitchen and living area. The existing open-plan layout had potential, but lacked the character and functionality they needed. Their vision was clear: transform the space into a refined but relaxed setting for cooking, entertaining, and creating memories with friends and family. With a strong focus on durable, scratch-resistant finishes and top-tier appliances, the couple placed equal weight on performance and aesthetic. Our team was ready to bring it to life.
Pastels, Parquet, and Purpose
We kicked off the design phase with collaborative mood boards to align on colors, finishes, and layout. Soft pastels and a two-tone kitchen concept were selected to add both brightness and visual interest. Elegant herringbone hardwood flooring introduced warmth and sophistication. We chose a quartz countertop for its clean look and easy maintenance, a smart choice for a home built around cooking. Lighting was layered for function and atmosphere: targeted illumination for prep time and gentle ambient lighting for evenings with a glass of wine in hand. The final layout was fine-tuned to eliminate congestion and improve flow across the entire living space.
Cooking Meets Connection
This was more than a design update, it was a lifestyle upgrade. By merging the kitchen and living zones, the home now offers a flexible, open environment that adapts seamlessly to quiet nights in, family brunches, or lively dinner parties. It’s the kind of space that doesn’t just serve meals, it creates moments.
A Statement in Green and White
A standout feature of the project was the cabinetry pairing from the Scavolini MOOD series: Aloe Green (Scav 279) and Prestige White (Scav 028). The color combination delivered a balanced yet bold contrast. High-end appliances from the Siemens iQ700 range ensured peak performance, while a showstopping downdraft extractor from Elica emerged directly from the countertop, turning everyday cooking into a presentation moment. It’s these carefully chosen details that make the space not just functional, but unforgettable.
